Booking
To secure a booking, Schaefer Sound Productions requires a minimum deposit of 1/2 of the reserved time. No new session will be booked without a deposit. This deposit will be credited towards the services you receive. Deposit can be made in person or via PayPal to the email address [email protected]. This deposit is refundable if the session is cancelled or rescheduled a minimum 48 hours prior to the scheduled start time. Half the deposit will be forfeit for cancellations the day prior to the booking, and ALL of the deposit will be forfeit for cancellations (including no-shows) the day-of the session. Cancellations of multiple blocked days require 7 days advance notice. In the event an engineer has to cancel a session we will notify you immediately to reschedule the session.
Schaefer Sound Productions reserves the right to refuse service to clients based on the subjective discretion of the staff.
Payment of all agreed upon recording fees are to be made in full at the end of each recording session. No recordings or other materials possessed by SSP shall be released until all accounts are paid in full. Any and all costs incurred by Schaefer Sound Productions in the collection of payments owed are the responsibility of the client
Billing for sessions start ON TIME. Be properly prepared by planning on arriving 15 minutes early, or call ahead to potentially arrive earlier. Billing for studio time begins promptly at the scheduled time, regardless if the client is present.
All setup time will be billed as regular studio time. This includes: load-in and instrument setup, microphone placement, level setting, client data preparation, CD burning, etc.
